We contacted the City of Glen Rose, TX for additional amendments under § 3.03.001. However, no local amendments regarding § R301.2 in the 2018 IRC were recorded. According to the Building Official, "Standard practice in this area is to use drip edge but not Ice Barrier Underlayment…We have no written amendments on this subject."
